Well. I for once want to think their three different feme bots mostly for the Ironhide/Chromia thing. (Although I also like Bumblebee/Arcee)

But It will hopefully be answered in the six-part "Tales of the fallen" series

I just bought three issues of the Reign of Starscream comics yesterday.

...You guys should have seen my mom's expression when she found out :mrgreen:

I agree, some of the toys are a pain in the butt to transform. I could barely get Sunstreaker into robot mode because I was afraid I'd break him if I pulled his ... front end? out too hard. But yeah... they're meant for ages 5+, I do not see a 6 or 7 year old kid being able to transform them.

Oh, when I say figure out a transformer, I mean how they transform. My shockwave is the purple repaint and he comes in robot mode, not tank mode like the instructuins show. I sat there trying to backtrack through the instructions for ages.

And Reign of Starscream is great! One of the covers mirrors the really cool "Transformers are all dead" one.

So... apparently there's a new Transformers cartoon coming out. I don't know the details - just heard it through the rumor mill.

Personally, I'd like to see a more ... well, serious/mature series. Something in which both factions and all characters have flaws, weaknesses, agendas, and experiences that influence them, instead of leaving them as two-dimensional characters. And of course, more femmebots.

What do you guys think?

On a convention report. I saw a takara Sky Lynx which was HUGE, Starscream, Skywarp and TC set and a limited edition Sunstorm as well as all the casseticons. A G1 Optimus which I only saw a glimps of but he was rather large and a Skywarp bust as well as an Optimus and Megatron revoltech and what looked to be an Ultra Magnus Revoltech. Oh yeah, and some alternators as well.

I'm on a bit of a high from buying a revoltech starscream, the allspark almanac and the arrival comic.

But a new cartoon you say? Hopefully we get more serious themes but I'm a kid at heart and the subtle hints animated gave made me happy. As long as we never repeat energon I'm cool.

This'll be my last post before I vanish into china for a fortnight. Keep the thread alive!
